What does money buy?
When it is being applied to ministry activities, it buys alot! .

There is never a lack of funds. Obviously, an understatment. It is a constant in a poverty stricken area like Ubaúna. Every dollar that is sent is stretched to its maximum. Every dollar that is spent opens the door to eternity.

Construction
The need for church buildings is great. A building not only provides shelter but also makes believers more visible to non-Christians. It establishes an identity and a presence. It states that the believers have a real identity and becomes a drawing force for the non-believer.

The buildings are multi-purposed. They are used for worship and study, but they are also used as community centers where people are taught to read using the Bible as their text; they are used for job training in skills such as sewing, carpentry, brick masonry, and handicraft activities that can provide a much-needed boost to the family income. Church buildings provide a gathering place for the local community to socialize — a tremendous advantage in the interior areas where churches are being planted.

Our Seed of Hope program for caring for children living in extreme poverty is often based out of the local church building. It becomes one of the few places a child is able to go and have clean, sanitary conditions to take a bath, use the bathroom and have a hot meal.

A church in the interior of Brazil can be built for as little as $20,000 and helps to "legitimize" the presence of Jesus in a village.

Materials
Something as simple as a table and chairs for children to eat or study on can be a gift that is more valuable than you might imagine. Notebooks, pencils, workbooks and school supplies are always in short supply. There are never enough Bibles and tracts are a luxury that are longed for.

The needs go on and on. A simple donation of $10, $50, $100 or more will go a long ways to advancing the Kingdom.

Warriors
The "Warriors" program is making an incredible impact in the lives of the students and in the church. This is an evangelist-in-training program that is producing enthusiastic, well-trained and highly motivated individuals who have no fear of taking the Good News into the darkest corners of the region. The program costs $300 a month to operate ($25 per student).
