| One of the ministries
in Ubaúna is a clothing ministry. Several times yearly
large duffle bags of clothes are taken down and distributed. Here,
ladies of the church are sorting the clothes in preparation to
distribute them.
|
This formosa tree
has become symbolic of the church's growth in Ubaúna. Located
on the plot that has been purchased to build a church building,
the tree was practically dead. During the last rainy season it
revived and burst into a colorful canopy. |
One thing that is
in abundance is kids! Where there's one, simply wait a few minutes
and you'll have 10; wait 15 minutes and you'll have 25. Put on
a VBS and you'll have 300! |

| A recent baptism. Baptisms are always joyous occasions
with many non-believers coming out to see what is going on. |
Bible studies and praise in the street is quite common
due to the heat, especially in October - December |
Once someone starts playing, a crowd will quickly
gather. |

| Yep! Even the people of Brazil celebrate with watermelon! |
A different kind of chirp on the shoulder! |
A smile is a smile in any language. |

Meetings for Bible study are held
wherever they can. Schools, homes, in the street -- people come
to where the Word is. |
Bible study over and they're all
smiles. |
Traffic jam in Ubaúna. |

|
| VBS attracts kids no matter what culture they live
in. |
Just like in biblical times -- people hanging in
the window to be able to hear the Word being taught. |
This is what its all about... public declaration
of a new life. |
